Hello
Hello
I'm a digital artist, but I wear a lot of other hats. I'm a mother of 3, with lifelong experience illustrating, crafting and caring for living things. I love to teach what I know to others, and the freelancing I do funds my indie game development projects. I invite you to read on to hear my story and check out my resume!

My Story
As a child I loved to explore outside finding bugs, reptiles, amphibians etc. Right as I entered teenage-hood I began to collect exotic critters as pets. I have always taken good care of my animals and have owned the same ball python, Occi, for over 20 years. Along with this love of animals, I was often designing games and toys I'd never play or own. I designed board games, side-Schrollers, and as PlayStation and Nintendo 64 rolled out, sandboxes inspired by Games like Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. Most of the games I dreamed of had dragons in them, so it's no surprise that Spyro was one of my favorite games to play.
While my grades weren't the best (at times the worst even) in elementary school, it was quite the opposite in college. I maintained between a 3.8 and a 3.6 GPA throughout the 15 courses I took with the Art Institute of Pittsburgh's online program. As my family grew and I had to focus more on 3 kids, I put a hold on college. I still intend to return, but that hasn't stopped me from pursuing game development anyway. In 2021 I was employed on a contract by Studio Wildcard to develop a mod for their game Ark: Survival Evolved. I was paid a AAA studio salary for 8 months and that experience was incredible. You can learn all about my modding project here.
Being a stay-at-home mom was my primary job though, and at this stage of my life I want to show my kids that they can pursue what they love and live off of their unique interests and gifts. I've just launched my own business in earnest: The Elemental Atelier, featuring my artwork and my best friend's apothecary items. Quantumpunk Creative, is a community I host as well through Patreon, where indies can collaborate to help each other's projects in early development so they can gain momentum.
I'm dedicated to the concept of Ikigai: our purpose is what we love, what we can be paid for, what you are talented at, and what is good for the world. By following this principle, we raise our vibration and the vibration of those our purpose touches. Quantumpunk Creative and The Elemental Atelier are all about creativity, evolving purpose, and thriving authentically.
